how to register your domain name

Once you’ve got that killer name, the one you just can’t get out of your head, the one you simply can’t fault, it’s time to seal the deal. A name really means nothing if it ain’t official, and by official we mean, purchase that domain.

So, what exactly domain name? A domain name is your online identity, it is your very own .com (.au or similar) and is your unique home address for your business to do its thang. When it comes to choosing a provider, you really are spoilt for choice but our pick is Crazy domains. If this is your first time registering a domain name, and a little unsure on how it all works, follow the four simple steps and lock down your domain name, stat!

Go to, then use the featured search bar and type in your dream domain. For this example, we’ve chosen Click search to see if it’s available.

Cue the confetti because it’s available! If yours is not, you can either choose another option from the list from OR choose another name altogether.

Once you have an available domain name, click on the “Add” button and then the “Add to Cart” button at the bottom.

Next, fill in your details to complete the order and proceed to the checkout. Note: Here is where you’ll be required to provide your personal and billing details.

You should receive an email from Crazy Domains, which you can then just forward to your web developers.

If you’re planning on purchasing a First Flight website then you will need to include your login details in the checkout process so our developers can hook up your domain to our web servers and connect to your website!
